Instructional Design Models to Inform Learning Design
(LDTC 605)
In this course, I examine traditional and contemporary instructional design (ID) models. The goal is to articulate the fundamental principles of selected ID models, analyze the strengths and limitations of each, and apply the models to learning design. Topics include ID models such as ADDIE, Dick and Carey, Understanding by Design, Rapid Instructional Design, and SAM. Focus is on creating a design document that encapsulates all aspects of the instructional design process, from planning to implementation.
